Cancer Awareness Taskforce of Suffolk County mission was to educate residents about the prevention of cancer, increase access to care and promote methods to reduce exposure to suspected environmental factors. In an effort to Promote Healthy Homes, the Taskforce developed a Home Product Checklist to help residents identify possible health hazards in the home and also inform the public of healthier alternatives.
