Governor Cuomo to Sign Law to Prohibit Sale of Child Products Containing Dangerous Chemicals

Albany, NY (July 30, 2011)

I thank the sponsors of this legislation, Senator Grisanti and Assemblyman Sweeney, for their work to ensure New York's children are protected from chemicals that could cause them harm."

Use of air fresheners and products for mold and mildew control were associated with increased risk. To our knowledge, this is the first published report on cleaning product use and risk of breast cancer,” said Julia Brody, Executive Director of Silent Spring Institute
